Re: Adapters Plugin

Hmmm. My version doesn't have a zero option.

Off to see if my version is out of date...

Re: Adapters Plugin

Oh, my bad. I thought that field was implemented differently. Never mind.

Re: Adapters Plugin - Issue Removing Decimal

Tried the settings you mentioned but am still getting the decimal.
Missed something? Still returns 43.1

Thanks,

Carl

Are you sure you're using the correct variable in your control page? When you use this plug-in you make a new variable.

Running Indigo 2023.2 on a 24" iMac M1), OS X 14.4

Re: Adapters Plugin

Yes, I’m using the correct variable. I see a prior post stating there isn’t a 0 option for the decimal.
I assume that’s the issue?

Thanks,

Carl

Re: Adapters Plugin

Selecting the '1' option should yield zero decimal places.

When you create the new Adapters device, you should display the Device State - [Adapters Device you just created] - Sensor Value.

Re: Adapters Plugin

Those exact settings show 1 decimal place. e.g. 42.3

Re: Adapters Plugin

I have to wonder if there's a bug in the version you have. Did you download it from the Plugin Store or from GitHub? There's always a chance that there was a bug that I fixed on my own, but I don't recall that. I haven't done anything like that in a long time.

Re: Adapters Plugin

I downloaded from the plugin store. Indigo shows it as ver. 1.0.2
Odd that the download version in the plugin store says1.0.1.

Re: Adapters Plugin

Yes, Dave is leading on a Py3 version.

Shouldn’t be too long before it’s ready from what I’ve seen.

Re: Adapters Plugin

The updated plugin is with beta testers now. There haven't been any reports of serious trouble and an "official" release should be out soon. Once things settle down a bit with the Python 3 transition, I'll begin working on some suggested enhancements.
