Received a Remotec ZXT-600 today to control the airco in our living room and defined the following:
If the temperature gets above 25 degrees in the living room and the outside door and window are closed, then, if the TV is on, a message shows up on the TV to ask if I want the airco on.
And if I press the OK button on the TV remote, the airco indeed turns on.
I just love the way I can connect all my devices using Indigo.

The TV has an API over a serial connection. I've written a Python script that is run by Indigo and uses this API to talk and listen to the TV.
Some other features is has:
When Indigo detects that someone is at our frontdoor, a PIP window is opened on the TV with a live stream from the camera at the door.
I can also present a menu on the TV with devices in the house and turn them on or off.

cool! I use the security spy Apple TV app, so viewing cams is easy ... but no way of having it pop automatically.
