Lol, so I'm eating my words pretty quickly.
Both me and my business parter are not getting on with Fibaro HC2 at all.
Apparently (according to their own forums) getting a motion sensor to Play a Sonos speaker is 'a little complicated for a beginner'.
The same goes for even getting Philips Hue integration, there's a whole blog post about how to do it - involves loads of manual coding, downloading plugin files and setting up the integration, and even then it didn't bloody work.
Both Fibaro HC2's are getting sent in for a refund.
Not interested in Vera.
Smart Things is cack.
So we're about to purchase another 2 or maybe 3 licenses of Indigo for work to tinker with
Any chance there is any form of bulk discount?
Annoying we have to buy Mac Mini's all around though as that's the most expensive part of Indigo! The one in the office needs to record 3 camera's at once so looks like we'll need the mid-spec Mac that's around £700.
There are some nice things with the Fibaro.
Built-in firmware upgrades of the Fibaro modules... so much so I might even sync my own modules to upgrade the firmware and then set them back on Indigo.
Standard web interface is nice, and can also link into things like Imperihome etc.. to make it easy to build mobile friendly interfaces - much easier than Indigo IMO.
Device support is a little restricted on the Fibaro of course - I had thought they would have opened it up for more. Vesternet threw in 5 free UK power sockets, but Fibaro didn't have a 'template' for that strangely.
