POPP Flood Sensor

Forum rules

Questions about hardware that can be controlled by Indigo (but not through the interfaces and plugins listed). If Indigo doesn't support some bit of hardware you're interested in, and you don't find a 3rd Party Plugin for it, add it to this forum. Be sure to include links to as much information as you can find about it.

Note: adding it here does not mean we're going to add it - in fact it's possible one of our 3rd party developers may decide to write a plugin for it. We add hardware/features based on a lot of different factors beyond just having a request for it.

POPP Flood Sensor

I just tried to add my new POPP Flood Sensor. I managed to sync it and add it as a device but when I add the sensor to water, the device does not turn on. This is the log of when I synced the device:

Code: Select all

Z-Wave                          received "035 - Notification Sensor" status update battery level 100%/code]

The sensor clearly works otherwise because the siren goes off when I dip the sensor in water. But nothing happens in Indigo. Nothing in the log either.

The weirdest thing is that I have the exact same sensor made by Neo Coolcam. The physical sensor is exactly the same but it's branded as Neo coolcam. Also it appears that the firmware version is different. This is the log information I get when adding the Neo Coolcam version of the sensor:

[code]Syncing - started for "036 - Notification Sensor"

Re: POPP Flood Sensor

Indigo 7.3 (and 7.3.1) are now available and should support the POPP Flood Sensor (700052).
