FYI, the new Kwikset Obsedian lock was released in June. Been waiting year as the hardware matches the new house.

The model number is 954 OBN ZW500 15. It synced with encryption perfectly, once I reseated the Zwave Plus card in the lock. Lock, Unlock status are working fine. Submitted but not defined in Indigo yet for any advanced features.

Have you tried it with the Z-Wave Lock Manager plugin? We don't yet natively support advanced lock features (like codes, etc), but that plugin does and it might very well work.
