Now is the time to please implement the ZigBee protocol.

there is a new usb controller on the market.

can get it from amazon.com / .de

I have already read on amazon.de that it is working on Mac osx thru there new firmware.

there is full Rest Api avail also.

can be used with all known ZigBee lights and sensors.

An interesting note for those paying attention - we've also added the GoControl/Linear GoControl QuickStick Combo ( HUSBZB-1 ) to our supported interfaces list. It's a very interesting device - it has both Z-Wave and ZigBee radios in it. It presents each as a separate Virtual Comm Port (GoControl_zwave, GoControl_zigbee). It works well as a Z-Wave interface with Indigo.

Any developer who would like to tackle adding ZigBee can also look into using the ZigBee portion of this interface. ZigBee isn't nearly high enough in priority for us to work on it now, but maybe there's an enterprising developer out that that would like to take a shot at it! :)
