Fibaro Universal Sensor Support

Hi ,
I've just bought a Fibaro FGBS-001 Universal Sensor (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1), and it's not being fully recognised. Indigo sees it as an FGBS321, but doesn't add support for the 2 output relays. Also it should support up to 4 ds18b20 temperature sensors; I have 1 connected...

From the event log at sync...

The relays only follows the inputs, they are not controllable.

Aha - basic misunderstanding! However the temperature monitoring was the bit I was really after...

Did you add the temp sensor after pairing it with indigo? If so you’ll need to unpair then repair it. Same goes for if you ever add more or replace a module (I’ve got several of these hooked up and fully working)

Excellent - that did the job. I did resync, but hadn't thought about re-pairing.

Didn't help that one of pack of 5 ds18b20's I bought is bad - and that's the one I's connected. Luckily had a spare pi to test them all.

Thanks

Yeah testing the ds18b20 is a faf with the universal sensor having to pair and unpair. Still once they’re working they tend to keep working in my experience.. in the last 4 years I’ve only had one failure and I think I have about 30 sensors in various places.
