ZW15RM-PLUS

Forum rules

Questions about hardware that can be controlled by Indigo (but not through the interfaces and plugins listed). If Indigo doesn't support some bit of hardware you're interested in, and you don't find a 3rd Party Plugin for it, add it to this forum. Be sure to include links to as much information as you can find about it.

Note: adding it here does not mean we're going to add it - in fact it's possible one of our 3rd party developers may decide to write a plugin for it. We add hardware/features based on a lot of different factors beyond just having a request for it.

ZW15RM-PLUS

I have a few of the Enerwave ZW15RM-PLUS outlets they work fine with Indigo even though under the supported hardware it only lists the ZW15RM.

Support wise, one addition would be nice to have. I just installed the Aeotec ZW122 and noticed that Indigo had the option not to log the temp. It would be nice to have a similar function in the ZW15RM-PLUS in that it will not log the power readings.

Re: ZW15RM-PLUS

Matt or Jay, would this be possible in a future release? This would be similar to what you have for the Aeotec sensors.

Yeah, we'll look into it. I have some Neo Coolcam wallwarts that also do that and it's really annoying.

Re: ZW15RM-PLUS

Yes, it is really annoying. Once I saw what you did with the Aeotec, I thought it would be handy for these as well.

Maybe you could just add the capability not to display broadcasts across all devices by adding a checkbox for every device? You know what would be easier.

Re: ZW15RM-PLUS

I just installed two and they respond well. It was a breeze to associate with Indigo. However, oh brother, the log issue is very annoying!

While we wait for a permanent solution, is there no hack that we could use to stop the device from inundating the log?

Re: ZW15RM-PLUS

I did contact Enerwave and they said I couldn't turn off it sending the power usage updates. So there is no hack on that end. All they could suggest was to contact the Indigo devs.

Re: ZW15RM-PLUS

Do the device settings for that one not show the Hide state messages from Event Log checkbox? It should. If it doesn't, then re-sync it and copy/paste the Event Log window results of the sync.

Re: ZW15RM-PLUS

It does not have that option that the Aeotec products do.

Re: ZW15RM-PLUS

Indigo 7.2.0 is now available for download and should show the option to hide those Event Log messages.

Re: ZW15RM-PLUS

I'll install it later and report back in. I did see that this device was listed in the release notes and was hoping that this issue was remedied.

Re: ZW15RM-PLUS

I see that you added the option to hide the broadcast messages. I've enabled it and so far so good but probably still too early to really tell. Sometimes it would go for hours without a log message and then it was almost constant for a little while.

I had to re-sync the module and a few GE/Jasco ones as well (both fan and switch) but not all of them. I think it was only a total of six devices.

Four hours and no messages in the logs. Thank you for adding full support for this device.

Almost a day later and no message(s), si thank you for adding full support including being able to change the LED setup without having to manually enter raw commands.
