Announcements of new versions?

Is there an email distribution for announcements of new versions? I only today found out that 2023.1 was released because I happened to swing by the forum looking for something else.

What I do is subscribe to the Annoucements topic. Certainly occasionally get a email warning about updating OSX version - but other than that the posts are about important aspects/new versions etc.

+1 on Glenn's recommendation.

For major releases, we post on the Announcements forum and in the Blog. Minor releases are just follow-up posts in the Announcement section.

Note, the Mac client (if enabled) will also show when there's a new version available.

Does the client do that other than at startup? I can go months without restarting the app.

Updates are checked when: server starts up, anytime a Mac Indigo (not Web or Indigo Touch) client connects, or when the menu item is chosen to check for new versions.

I agree it would be good if Indigo periodically checked on its own as well...
