Database location - not in TimeMachine backups

Hi-

I had to restore my Mac from a TimeMachine backup, and it looks like the Indigo database was not restored, and I'm not finding it in any of the historical backups...

I'm looking in:
/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 2022.1/Databases

As per the documentation https://wiki.indigodomo.com/doku.php?id ... _up_indigo

That directory is empty in every backup I have in TimeMachine. Do the databases get saved to some other location? Is there some way to find it somewhere else in my TimeMachine backups?

I even did a tarball of that directory a couple weeks ago, didn't get any files in the Databases directory.

I have a backup from ~6 months ago in the "Databases (old)" folder, but it doesn't have a lot of stuff that a more recent backup would have...

Thanks,
Jason

Re: Database location - not in TimeMachine backups

Never mind - I found it!

Somehow, several years ago I moved the database into a different directory.

For what it is worth, I found it by brute force...

Code: Select all
cd /Volumes/TimeMachine/Backups.backupdb/iMac
find . -type f -name \*.indiDb

And there it was, in my development folder instead of the default location. Phew!
