Ventura has been working fine on my server. Any brave soul try 13.1 yet?

I haven’t even updated to 13.0 yet on the server. I’m in the process of updating everything else right now. I’m interested in seeing how all this affects HomeKit. Glenn’s AppleTV plugin is making a lot of red ink in the log, haven’t had a chance to look at it yet.

Re: Ventura 13.1

So I upgraded to 13.1 and while I had some issues getting my Insteon Modem to connect, so far, so good.

IF you run into this problem, I shut down the server, unplugged the modem from the wall, and disconnected the USB connection to the modem as well. Waited about 2 mins, hooked it all back up and it worked. Not sure what might have caused the problem, but if you do run into this issue, for me, at least, it was easy to solve.

Re: Ventura 13.1

Well, I bit the bullet and upgraded the server Mac (M1 Mini). I’m running Indigo, Security Spy, Homebridge and Channels DVR. All seems well. I also converted to the new HomeKit architecture, because I like to live dangerously. HomeKitLink Siri spit some red ink in the log during restart, but seems to be working. UniFi cameras coming through Homebridge won’t start in Home on the Mac but are fine on iOS devices, and continue to work as motion sensors through Perry the Cynic’s Security Spy plugin.

My wife’s iPhone has been shut out, as others have reported. The consensus is to delete members, reboot all the ATVs/HomePods and re-invite members. I haven’t tried this yet, hope it’s that simple.

I don’t have any Thread devices and few WiFi ones, Twinkly mostly, so that may be why I haven’t had the grief others have. I also upgraded the UniFi APs to 6.2.49, which seems to greatly improve the wireless experience with Apple devices.
