Z-wave comms with most devices failed

One day suddenly the Z-wave communication to most (but not all devices) have turned red "no ack". I have done zero upgrading, zero changes. The affected devices are BeNext dimmers, Fibaro dimmers and Wall plug swithces.

My battery operated Danfoss thermostats are only partially communicating.

Only exception are the door sensors (I have two).

Devices very close to the Z-wave stick are equally affected.

I am clueless how to go about trouble shooting this.

The below excerpt from log-file shows that the Danfoss (TERM) units seems to repeating their status several times.

Any suggestions? I have not seen anything like this in several years of usage.

Re: Z-wave comms with most devices failed

Have you tried to resync any of them? Sounds like your zwave stick might be on the way out.

Ok, I did solve this problem: I unplugged my Aeotec Gen5 stick - after plugging it in again all was good. But it has made me worry about the stability of the system.

It isn't common, but unfortunately sometimes the Z-Stick will get into a bad state and has to be rebooted (unplugged or Mac restarted). I'm not sure if the problem is specific to certain versions of the Z-Stick, but we've had a couple of similar reports through the years.
