Local Indigo Server needed for this file, folder,or function

I get this error when trying to launch the scripting shell from the Mac Mini Server. I am able to launch the shell using terminal and

Code: Select all

Is the client you’re using on the same Mac as the server?

Can you take a screenshot of the error itself?

And, are you running the Mac client from the same account as the server or a different account on the same Mac?

The server and the client in this screen shot are both running from a headless Mac Mini on 2021.1. I connect to the client using the external facing address. I never had an issue until the upgrade to 2021.1.

Since you mentioned it, I changed the client connection to use localhost rather than the external reflector connection and now the Plugin Shell launches properly.

Thanks for the tip.
