Removing unused node ID's

I am trying to clear out the old nodes 027 & 061 (see image) from my Sync dialogue.
I tried Interfaces->Z-Wave->Remove unused devices from controller but that didn't work.

On a kind of related note, is there a way to run some sort of maintenance within the Indigo environment that will re-index the Node ID's?
See the image below....(2,3,4,-----10...)

thanks for any much appreciated input!

Re: Removing unused node ID's

See Jay's post here. The trick is you have to try to define a device against the missing/removed node ID so that the Z-Wave Controller realizes it is really no longer in the network. After that the remove unused menu item should work.

There isn't a way to re-index the node IDs. They are used throughout the routing tables in all the modules, so they are pretty much static once a module is included into the network/controller.
