Indigo 7.5 email scan authentication failed

Suddenly out of nothing yesterday the Indigo email scan authentication failed:
(nothing changed):
email scan authentication failed

It's a simple MSN OutLook mail account which has working perfect for years.
At the same Mac the Apple Mail client with exactly the same account works still perfect.
Server name: pop-mail.outlook.com
Port: 995
Encryption method: TLS

So, we made another new Gmail account.
And we got exact the same problem:
email scan authentication failed
pop.gmail.com
Port: 995
Encryption method: TLS

When we change the connection settings to IMAP the Indigo Server keeps saying: connecting and connecting and connecting (with at the end an "email scan timeout".

The strange thing is that the SMTP server settings are working well ; sending email with the same Outlook account with Indigo are still works perfect.

Anybody a solution?

PS: when we use our business IMAP mail account from another well working Indigo Server at this Indigo Server; even that account keeps connecting and connecting with at the end an "email scan connection failed".
So, we are afraid that the preference file or something is bad? Where can we change/delete/edit that?

Indigo doesn't support IMAP email scanning/triggering (only POP). We recommend using the Better Email plugin. It is robust and provides a lot of additional functionality, including IMAP support.

Thanks for the feedback.
It's annoying that no (new) POP account doesn't work anymore with the standard Indigo email settings.

Upgraded to the famous, super fast and next level message handling with the perfect iMessage plugin from Glenn :D .

That isn't true, but regardless our suggestion is to use the Better Email plugin instead of troubleshooting authentication issues with Indigo's current built-in client POP implementation.
