Indigo Domotics

I'm getting this error every 10 minutes. I have not changed my email.

I'm trying to send to my personal gmail account:
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 587
Use SSL/TLS: yes
SMTP user name: bbruck@gmail.com
SMTP password: [my gmail password]
Reply-to email address: bbruck@gmail.com

Any ideas?

Note we are recommending using the Better Email Plugin for sending and scanning/triggering on emails now. Switching to that likely won't fix this problem (as that post describes it is also an isssue for it), so this is just an FYI.

I had this problem and fixed it by generating an app password in Google as follows:

1. Go here: https://myaccount.google.com/security
2. Log into your google account (if you are not already)
3. Under "Signing into Google", click App Passwords
4. Select App = Mail and Device = Mac
5. Click Generate
6. Copy password and paste into Indigo as your google password
