When I realized what was happening with the 3d Printer. I ordered two filterlincs via eBay. One worked, the other was "DOA" by for all appearances should have worked fine. There simply was no indication that it wasn't working.

Grab some Ferrites and see if they work for you, I ended up putting two on the 3d printer, but even with just one there was a significant difference. The second was just the icing on the cake.

I'm using macOS Monterey (Version 12.2) on my Mac Pro (Late 2013) Cylinder and when I update the operating system, I find that I have to load the latest USB Driver for my SmartHome PowerLink USB 2413U via: https://ftdichip.com/drivers/vcp-drivers/

It continues to work perfectly and restore USB functionality!
Note: If you install the USB driver for your system, you have to reboot your system for it to take effect.

But ultimately, I still have access to all my old Insteon Devices.
I'm slowly moving over those that die (due to increasing costs of Insteon) over to TP-Link's Kasa platform which is very good.
Rarely but occasionally, I have to reconnect a Kasa device to the WiFi - but it's rare.
