Re: "Failed to find USB device"

Presuming you had the Indigo 6 installer install the driver for the 1132CU (it does by default, but you can uncheck the option), it should automatically find it and be able to connect to it. You might try re-running the Indigo 6 installer (and rebooting) to see if that gets it working.

If not, then open the Event Log window and copy/paste its contents into a forum reply after you attempt to enable the interface (and get the error), so we can see the details.

Re: "Failed to find USB device"

Matt,

I re-ran the Indigo 6 installer and the re-booted the Mac (I had not rebooted after the first installation.) Indigo appears to be working properly now. I can access my 1132, turn some devices on and off, and upload a new set of time triggers into the 1132.

Thanks,
Alex

I've all of a sudden run into this problem too. I checked the System Profile and get this (see attached) It doesn't say anything about Smarthome, but there are only two USB devices connected and the other is the LaCie drive. Is this part of the problem?

Re: "Failed to find USB device"

Are you using the PowerLinc 2413U, 2414U or 1132CU? Of those the 2413U uses the FTDI chip, so what you are seeing in the system profile might be correct.

If you are still having problems with it, copy/paste the Event Log contents showing the errors you are seeing. Also try swapping the USB cable and different USB ports.
