Re: Mavericks Compatibility

Hmmm.. Mavericks likes to eat UI controls apparently. :?

Can you try the 3 steps outlined 2 posts above and let me know if that resolves the problem? Since it looks like you are running Indigo 5, you'll want to delete the file com.perceptiveautomation-indigo-client5.plist.

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

I've just upgraded to Mavericks on my Mac Mini and my Applescripts have ceased being able to 'tell application "IndigoServer"' - if I try to execute them it says "IndigoServer got an error: Application isn't running"

Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

Panic over - SecuritySpy also runs on this machine and needed upgrading to latest.

Has anyone installed 10.9 Server yet? I'm afraid. :-)

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

I have - contrary to my last post I still have a couple of problems which I am working on:

i) iTunes plug in won't resynch with latest iTunes.
ii) SecuritySpy (even the latest version) seems to go wild using up processor AND prevents AppleScripts from working. Rather serious that one.

Disabling iTunes and SecuritySpy leaves me with a stable system though.

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

I haven't had time to try and fix the problem I posted above, but I did want to mention that Maverick is NOT installed on the computer running Indigo, but rather another one on the network. Unintentionally this has allowed me to see some problems but without taking the major step of upgrading the actual indigo server.

Yes, I've installed 10.9 on my Indigio server. No problems.

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

No access to my Powerlink2414U since upgrading to Marericks.
I have tried two different USB cables and power cycled the 2414U.
Deleted "com.perceptiveautomation-indigo-client5.plist" and restarted.
Here's what my event log reads;

Oct 28, 2013, 1:00:01 PM
Error unable to upload actions to the interface -- interface connection is not good
Interface Failure failed to establish connection with USB interface PowerLinc 2414U

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

@pjmotz, try rerunning the Indigo 5 installer. It might be a permission issue on the kext that Indigo installs for the 2414U.

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

I tried 1 and 2. no luck. 3. doesn't work because said file doesn't exist.

Any other ideas?

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

The file should exist -- note there are 2 Library folders on your Mac. The one that file is in is inside your user folder (not root) Library folder:

~(your user folder)/Library/Preferences/com.perceptiveautomation.indigo-client6.plist

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

Hmm... I'm not sure. We aren't able to reproduce the problem here. That is the only file to which window/view position and size information is saved, so I'm surprised that didn't reset it.

Have you tried re-running the Indigo installer?

Re: Mavericks Compatibility

Ok I made sure the file was still deleted and restarted the Mac, then started Indigo. This worked. So the remedy was step number 3 with a reboot.

Thanks for the help.
