How to use RESTful API in curl with device id?

Hi, how can I use the device id instead of the derive name in such a server request?

Code: Select all
curl -u user:password --digest -X PUT -d isOn=0 http://indigoIP:8176/devices/Lampe1

Appreciate your help.

As far as I know, that's still not possible to do with the Indigo RESTful API. I know for sure that it's on the list as a part of a future web server overhaul.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.

Ah okay, thank you for the reply, saves me quite some time to search for how to do it. So if I change the name of the device I also have to change the http link in order to maintain functionality.
