Incorrect device type

Sorry, search but couldn't find a reference to this problem:

All of a sudden, a device that was included as a Power Plug, is now showing as luck. See enclosed graphics.

This happened to 4 devices., I could exclude and reinclude, but one of them is "in-wall device" that will take me to remove a TV mounted on the wall. Doable put painful.

Sync doesn't do anything.

Any suggestion?

Re: Incorrect device type

Re-sync this device, then open the Event Log window and copy/paste the text showing the sync process into a reply for me.

2. Just trying things, I saved the device to X10, in preparation to exclude and reinclude. Out of the blue, I changed it again back to z-wave and re-synched. Well, it fixed the problem.

I repeated to all devices that had the issues, the trick worked for all.

Hope this helps find the issue.

Re: Incorrect device type

Thanks for the info and trick steps. I'm not sure what caused this. I suspect the Z-Stick, when it was connecting to Indigo, sent some garbage data for some of the nodes (which Indigo interpreted as them being locks). We've seen the Z-Stick do this before, but never causing this particular device corruption problem.

If you have the problem again please let us know. We'll want to get the Event Log files from you for around the date the problem started to see if we can identify exactly when/how it occurred.
