Your UUID was included and it should install and run for you. Read over this thread which talks about some problems other folks have had and what they did which got it working. Apparently, there are some bugs in iTunes or the iPhone that prevent Ad Hoc distributed apps from always syncing/installing/working on the first try.
Thank you. Not sure just what did it in particular but after messing around, including the un-checking it from the Apps in iTunes, I.e. uninstalling it and re-installing it it showed up.
Installing Beta 4.0.2 is on the agenda next. Wanted to be sure I had a need for it first
Just to finish up this thread.... upgrade from 3 to 4.0.2 beta went well. The usual forgot this or that re scripts and web server space but caught up quickly. This method is my usual one as I don't want to overwrite anything that might be new so I fill in what's missing after the upgrade.
Connection with iPhone went without a hitch once 4.0.2 was on line. First impression: I like the way the control page "floats".
Thanks again for helping me to get started with the iPhone app.
