Changing images on server requires reinstall of Touch

I replaced some device state images on Indigo Server (same file name, different graphic). I restarted the Mac and the iPads.

But no matter what, it is caching old device state images on Touch. However, once Touch is uninstalled an reinstalled, it looks perfect.

iPad Mini 2 with iOS 10.0.2 on iOS Touch 2.0.5
Mac Mini 5,1 with macOS 10.11.6 on Indigo Server 6.1.11

I wonder if it has to do with the growing file size issue?

This is a known issue/limitation. I have on the feature request list to add some type of Clear Cache UI or mechanism for this case. This is indirectly related to the refreshing image cache problem. That problem is different though, in that it seems to be specific to iOS 10 whereas the issue you describe above is a known limitation to Indigo (all iOS versions).

+1 on this.

It'd also be nice if the reverse were possible, forcing images to stay cached on indigo touch.. my control pages are very graphic intensive and it's a right pain when it has to reload the images constantly :)

Indigo Touch 2.1 is now available. It includes a manual clear cache button in the settings panel.
