[ANSWERED]: Refreshing image URL not completely working

Hey,

I have got a refreshing image URL pointing to an png-file.
The file is downloaded bij a plugin which changes when an new album is playing from the playlist.
All works great.

But when the playlist is empty I get a png-file that is also empty (supplied from the JRiver-server).
The file exists but has no content!
IT displays the old png-file untill I do a page refresh. Then it is gone (not visible).
The refreshing URL keeps on working without errors.

When I'm on the Indigo Home Control Server (Safari) I do get an instant update of the new png-file.
It displays an empty png-file (little blue box with an question mark).

I can program around this problem from within the plugin.
But seeing that IT and the Indigo Home Control Server (Safari) do not handle an empty png correctly, I thought I should mention it.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll look into it. I'm not sure that an empty PNG is a valid PNG though so I'm not entirely sure what "correctly" handling it is. Certainly from the browser perspective you'd expect the standard broken link icon since it's completely handled by the standard browser behavior. From IT however, I'm not convinced that's the reasonable thing to do.

Do transparent PNGs exist?

If so, handling an empty PNG as transparent should do the trick?
