Indigo touch not working when on a cell phone call

I have noted that since upgrading to iOS 7, when I'm on a cell phone call and want to access indigo touch, it comes up but is completely unresponsive. It doesn't matter whether I am on a cell network or whether I am home on Wi-Fi. I have an iPhone 5. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is there an anticipated fix to this issue when using the iPhone Indigo app while on a phone call and not being able to turn on/off devices? This is happening to me as well when using iOS 7 for iPhone 5.

Furthermore, it seems to freeze the app for a while even after you've finished the phone call. The app is just unresponsive.

As Jay said, no ETA but it definitely will be fixed. Turning around a "quick fix" or tweak to an iOS application is near impossible. We have quite a few changes/fixes that will be in the next major release of Indigo Touch though.

Was just about to post about something similar... Indigo Touch is also unresponsive when the GPS is turned on for navigation... which really is something I use quite a bit to check up on things while traveling. Just thought I would pop it onto this thread if anyone wasn't already aware.

Just to pile in here, I have found that if you rotate the phone to landscape mode Touch works fine. It's just in portrait mode.
Also, it's not just in a call. If you use personal hotspot and the blue bar is present at the top of the screen, it has the same effect as when on a call.

It has been over a year and this problem still exists, although I guess it is somewhat moot with all the worse problems under iOS 8. Do you have any time frame for resolution?

It will be fixed in the next major release of Indigo Touch (that we are currently working on).

Also any app that shows a background status display will conflict with Indigo. I.e. say Google Maps. In IOS 8 it will say Google Maps Is Using Your Location etc at the top of the screen. This in Indigo Touch will prevent the app from functioning at all. Puhlease fix this. It's been four years since any update. That's nuts, every other app I use regularly updates every other month... Mobile is where we're at in 2014...
