The Radio Thermostat plugin proof of concept (question)

i know this what proof of concept that lacked official support, but i was using it and have now found that the devices in it are uneditable.
did something break with the newer versions of indigo?

specifically when i go to edit the device configuration, the ip address and such are greyed out and the device type has nothing listed. my thermostats moved IP addresses for some reason and i need to update them in indigo.
I can't add new ones because it won't let me select a device type.
anything can do?

Sounds like the plugin is disabled. Make sure it's enabled (if it is, the reload it). Watch the Event Log for errors.

sorry, i used the wrong field name.

after hitting edit device settings, the field for thermostat says select an item, but there are no items.

here is the event log after reload

I'm not sure I'm following you (I haven't looked at that plugin for years and unfortunately I don't currently have a thermostat to test with). Can you take some screenshots of what you're seeing?

sure. in this pop up after you create or edit a thermostat that is 3M filtrate, the select an item does to have any items to select and the fields below cannot be edited.

In the plugin's config dialog, enable debugging, then restart the plugin. Copy/paste in the debug lines that show up in the Event Log window when the plugin starts up and when you try to add a new device.

Hmmm - unfortunately, I can't see why the one it's finding isn't showing up in the list. I don't have one to test with handy, so unfortunately I'm not sure I can help much more.

What happens when you select Plugins->Radio Thermostat->Rescan for Thermostats?

after i click rescan it is the same as the bottom of the log i posted above. it find one device and posts its uuid number etc.

something else in the event log:

Radio Thermostat Error Error in plugin execution GetUiDynamicList:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 478, in thermostatList
<type 'exceptions.KeyError'>: key uuid not found in dict

Forgot to mention that I went ahead and deleted my existing thermostat devices just in case that was the problem, but no change.

Oh, well, that's much more useful. Unfortunately, I can't get back to this until the middle of next week as I'm going out of town. I'll look at it more then.
