The supplies:

Window molding
3/4 x 1 1/2” pine board
After mathi’ing a little, i ripped the molding to a narrower width, glued the board to tge molding, let it bond, started the mitre cuts, glued it up, and let it bond more:
In a poof i wrote that won’t fit in the margin
, i saw you cannot do 45 degree mitres with this size board while keeping the tablet flush- so i glued in some mdf spacers. 
I didn’t leave room for a micro usb adapter, so i repurposed a qi charger (thanks Roussel (i think?) for the idea:
