Car preheating

Hi forum!

I need help!

I'm trying to build a automation to heat my car during cold winter mornings.
My goals are following:
1. Set independent departure time for every day
2. On/Off (Enable/disable) independent for every day
3. Start the heating depending on outdoor temperature
If the temperature is +10C +5C then the heater need to start 1 hour before departure
If the temperature is +5C +0C then it need to start 2 hour before departure
If the temperature is -0C -10C then it need to start 3 hours before departure
If the temperature is -10 -20 then it need to start 4 hours before
And finally >-20 5 hours before departure

Nr 2 was easy, just create a true/false variable for each day.

Nr 1 I'm not really sure how to solve, I need a function similar to an alarm clock. Where I can set a time easy with up/down arrows for minutes and hours.

Nr 3 is even more tricky. I need to calculate time remaining to departure and depending on temperature start in time. I leave at earliest 05:00 in the morning for work, I guess I can set a count down timer at midnight every night, but I still down know set the departure time in Nr 1.

Some one more cleaver then me or more knowledge in scripting that can give me some help.

Re: Car preheating

That script solves the basic with preheating depending on departure.
It takes ETD from a variable, if you don't like to modify the script to much u could use a schedule to update the time. Otherwise it won't be independent.
To set time on a control page is above my knowledge, I have tried. Right now I use pop-up on the iPad.

Re: Car preheating

This morning it was -22C so the option to cool down the car isn't that appealing.
Where I live it's not really a priority any time of the year :)
But one option would be to roll down the windows with a relay?
