Python Upgrade?

Python 2.x was EOL'd on Jan 1, 2020. And was NO surprise. Was known about for at least 2 years! 2.X is dead. Dead, dead, dead. No longer supported. Will NEVER get a fix for any problem/vulnerability.
Sorry, this is unacceptable. And another reason not to upgrade Indigo.
Get with the times. Python is at 3.8 now. Indigo doesn't support OSX 10.6, because its outdated, yet hangs onto Python 2.6? LOL.
