Re: Tesla Model S & X Script for Indigo

Yeah so I saw, it's actually a 46kwh battery pack but they have 5kwh spare as cells die off/bad manufacturing/etc. They've had them in testing on U.K. roads since the beginning of the year. Also they have the new r link evolution that looks soooo much better than the crap mine has!

Yeah it's terrifying! I honestly think you should need a special licence to drive something that size.

How about driving this beast? While towing the car parked in front of it. It's 45' long, 8' wide, 13' high. Weighs about 50,000lb.

No special license required here in Florida, but I did need one when I lived in Texas.

That's a common typo on the RV forums. ;)

You see them in the U.S.? Best not drive that here in Louisiana lest the remainder of people on the road with 5000-pound vehicles not see you and turn you into a pancake.

Yeh, best to keep that out of Alabama too LOL. I already spend too much time picking Fiats and Smartcars out of the grill of my "alternative fuel vehicle"

Bloody heck that's massive. Don't you mean "all the fuel vehicle"? :/

LOL, it's actually not that bad for 8,000 pounds with a full tank and driver. I get 18mpg in the city and about 27-28 on the highway - if I keep my foot out of it, which is hard to do with almost 600 horsepower! :!: :D

That's slightly better than my old Saab 9000 aero from the mid 90s got... ;)

LOL, yeah I almost said "the South" and added "right, Terry?"

Ha!! Yep, it's a requirement down here isn't it?!?! One of my best friends is originally from England, and he has one too - a full on convert - the only English redneck I know!

Didn't much care for the 9000s. I had two different 900s in the 80s. Loved those cars.

Re: Tesla Model S & X Script for Indigo

I loved my 9000... just something about that acceleration from 40 to 70 in what felt like the blink of an eye. Of course a P100DL would smoke it :D

Re: Tesla Model S & X Script for Indigo

I'm pretty much a fan of anything that comes with a Ludicrous Mode.

I think Indigo should have a Ludicrous Mode.

What a boring Nissan announcement, compared to their pre-show marketing.
