I would like to get a SIMPLE android tablet for BLE testing. The iPhone does not show the mac numbers of involved devices - security limitation.
I like to use some BLE scanner apps on an android that can show me the mac number

I dont want to hack a device to be able to do that.

Any suggestions ?

You will need to make sure anything you buy has the capabilities you need (proper bluetooth version and OS to support the app you want to use)... But if I were you then I would go on Swappa or an equivalent site and get a used, name brand tablet. I've used Swappa several times on phones and had good experiences with them.
