Ambient Weather WS-2902 data import

I'm not sure this is the right forum for this topic, if not moderator please move.
My old Davis weather station finally gave up the ghost and I have just bought an Ambient Weather WS-2902, mostly for the wifi console. I've discovered that Weathersnoop 3 doesn't support this particular model ( other Ambient Weather models it does). While I can connect it to WUnderground and use that excellent plugin to get data into Indigo, that depends on a functioning Internet connection.
My question is, has anyone found a way to pull the data that is on the local net from the WS-2902 into Indigo without having to go out to the cloud?
