Philips Ambilight TV control

Looking for a plugin for Philips current range of Ambilight TVs. Don't really need anything fancy.. just need to be able to turn on/off the ambilight and ambilight + hue functionality, and preferable be able to tell if they're on or not. It can be done from the Philips TV app so there must be some way of doing it.. but alas way beyond my current abilities!
