This looks pretty interesting. https://www.thinka.eu

Full zwave to Homekit translation out the box. A bit on the expensive side but looks promising.

The Thinka hub Z-wave frequency is 868 MHz, not used everywhere.

Yes. That's true. Europe now, NA later. But this is the internet, people read from all over the world not just one place, so, useful for many of us...

Wouldn’t want someone to buy an expensive hub, pay for international shipping, and the discover it wasn’t compatible with their local devices.

I should note that this device will likely not work with Indigo. Indigo wants to be the primary Z-Wave controller and this device is likely the same. And since you can only have one primary controller on a Z-Wave network your devices will only work on one or the other. If they ship an API then it might be possible for someone to write a plugin to do the integration (a la Vera Bridge, Hubitat Bridge, etc).

With HomeKit-Bridge, Indigo users have no need for this, do they?

That's right, I think. Homebridge can do most of this and probably more, although with a bit more complexity. I just thought it would be an interesting item for the community to be aware of.

Here’s something I’d like to see; a Z-wave controller with an Ethernet port. That way it could be positioned in an area of good RF coverage and not mess with USB.
