Too good to be true - Helton

An interesting range of products! Appears to have “user selectable: zwave frequencies - a boon for small markets like AU/NZ. Anyone familiar with these?

The best bit is they are 700 series chips (gen7) which as you see gives all frequencies in one device so no more UK/EU, AUS/NZ, USA definitions for Indigo, just one.

The range is greatly extended so I will be buying two, as at present I have 2 Fibaro switches, one in the house loft and one in the garage roof just being used as repeaters and they just about talk but the 700 series have 30% better range so should improve that considerably.

Battery life is also doubled.

700 series zwave also has OTA updates, not sure if Indigo has to be updated for that.

Peter has messaged Heltun and they say end of April but I suppose it is down to China getting back to full output and at present none of their suppliers are even advertising them for pre ordering.

Just pre-ordered one from Vesternet; "In stock soon".

Mines arrived.

I’ll unbox and test tonight but probably won’t have long to deep soak it.

Well if the device is as nice as the packaging and attention to detail, this will be an awesome brand to join Zwave.
