RF Access Point Replacement Options

I had an Insteon 2443 Access point die and I'm looking to replace it. The status on both smarthome.com and Amazon is unavailable and it looks like the device is no longer made. Do I need to look at a different product to replace it? I've always read that it's good to bridge the two phases and I have noticed quite a few
Code: Select all
"send failed (no acknowledgment)"
errors lately. What are my options?

Re: RF Access Point Replacement Options

The Insteon Range Extender replaced the Access Points. If most of your Insteon devices are dual-band, you may not need them. Also, if you have need for a controllable device in the same area that your current Access Point is in, you can just put a dual-band device there (which would also function as a bridge between powerline and RF).
