How to Stop Built-In Speech Synthesizer from Speaking?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some assistance in preventing the text in the 'Speak' field on the Action Create/Edit window, passed as the dictionary value 'textToSpeak', from being sent to the built-in speech synthesizer.

I have created an action that generates speech from a plugin using the 'Speak' field, but I also want to stop the built-in speech synthesizer from speaking. Can anyone give me some guidance on how to achieve this?
