pycharm client server

has anyone setup pycharm as client server?

I am working on Mac mini, indigo runs on Mac Pro
I guess these are the options:
1. use desktop remote and pycharm on indigo server
2. running pycharm on mac mini, point pycharm to indigo server

anything special that needs to be done?

I haven't tried this but I think the setup instructions are different if you do a remote computer to remote computer debug that involve SSH (looking at PyCharm help)..

I would think the safest thing would be to do a remote desktop connection to Indigo server Mac because at least you know that will work.

Of course, you could be a trail blazer and show us all how it could be done.

Indigo doesn't currently support remote debugging. It's on the list though. But we do give out dev licenses so that our developers can run Indigo on a different Mac than their "production" machine which should alleviate most of the remote debug pain.
