[ANSWERED]: Separator lines in Model menus?

Is there any way to mark up a Devices.xml file so that separator lines show up in the "Model:" menu of the Edit Device dialog?

I've got a plugin with lots of device types that I'd like to group visually.

You might try the same (documented) trick that works for action menu lines - create a false device type with only a name, no Config or anything.

Nah, tried that. Indigo requires a type and name, and putting "-" as the name just produces a dash, not a neat disabled separator.

Added to the feature request list.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but how I organize my device is by using zones labeling and assign it to the notes column and organize by the note field.

It isn't, but... That's quite impressive.

How do you get the "---Zone A---" lines/devices?

I just go thru the step of creating a new device and put ------- Zone A -------- in the name field and enter A | in the notes field so I can organize by the notes tab.

It appears this is an old thread, but I haven't seen if this was added to Indigo or not. I'm also looking to implement a visual separator in the devices list when creating a new device.
