Using "possible power failure" as trigger

So the computer that runs my Indigo Server is on a UPS backup, so in case of a power failure, it stays running. I've got the UPS plugin connected and its working as designed. The fastest it can poll the UPS is 60 seconds. But I've got a generator and powers everything back up in much less than 60 seconds, so can't really use the AC State of the UPS as a trigger since its not fast enough.

When the power does go out, and in the 10-15 seconds before the generator kicked in, I get this message in the log:
Error PowerLinc not responding -- attempting reset
Power Failure possible power failure
Interface Failure lost connection with interface

I'm just wondering if there is a way to use this info as a trigger. Lots of things happen when the house looses AC power even if momentarily, and it would be nice to be able to have Indigo automatically reset some devices and turn others off.
