Google Course on Python

While poking around, I stumbled across this site and found the information to be pretty darn good. It's a Google class on Python taught by Nick Parlante of Stanford (and Google apparently.) There are videos, all materials, exercises--the works.

I found it helpful to go through (I'm somewhat self-taught) and it undid some bad habits and showed me some stuff I'd missed along the way. Can't beat the price of admission.

nice intro, like it verst simple to learn and clear presentation... .. do you know one that goes into classes and somewhat more complex i.e. hierarchical dicts??

Try searching "MIT python course". There's a fair bit to choose from.

There are also likely free MOOCs about; but I've not tried one.
