macOS 12.3 compatibility ETA?

MODERATOR NOTE: Indigo 2022.1 has solved the compatibility issue with macOS Monterey 12.3+.

I updated before finding out that Indigo isn't compatible, and I'm not crazy about rolling back the OS.

Are we talking roughly about weeks, or days, for an update to Indigo?

Indigo is one of (I think) two pieces of software that I pay a subscription for, so this is a bit disappointing, two macOS releases in short order breaking my home automation. :(

Feel free to stop using Apple’s products - it’s them pulling features and/or releasing buggy updates that Indigo (a team of 2 people) have to drop everything they’re doing to fix/respond to Apple.

Don’t take it out on Indigo.

Re: macOS 12.3 compatibility ETA?

I'm not "taking it out" on Indigo.

According to the Indigo team, they've known for a long time that python 2 was going to be yanked from macOS, but didn't correctly anticipate the timing. That's a bummer.

The Indigo team is working on the fix, and "the fix is huge". Also a bummer.

I didn't think that installing macOS 12.3 would break Indigo. Guess what? Bummer.

I didn't read the Indigo forums before installing macOS 12.3. Bummer.

My SuperDuper backup kernel panics when I boot from it. Bummer!

I'm just trying to get a feel for the timeframe for the fix, not to hold anyone to a day-and-date deadline schedule.

Lessons learned by me:
Try out my backup once in a while
Read the Indigo forums before updating my OS

It might have been cool to get an email with this information before 12.3 was released. Or is there an email opt-in that I've missed?

They emailed on 16th February, presumably to all current customers, but see Matt's reply here: viewtopic.php?f=84&t=25790&start=30#p208673

You should have recieved an email from Indigo around the 16 February.

See
viewtopic.php?f=84&t=25790&p=208675#p208675 for a copy of the one I received.
Also go to the 'announcements' subforum and in your settings subscribe to it, then you will get an email about 'Official announcements on new releases or other important events.'
In your email whitelist 'webmaster@indigodomo.com' to make sure it does not end up in the spam folder.

Not sure why, but there are two identical topics here. I'm locking this one but you may continue to post on the other one.
