[ANSWERED]: Boiler device status

Hi,
I've got a Horstmann thermostat and boiler actuator (ASR-ZW) It works fine, however the device status doesn't update when the boiler is turned on from the thermostat, It will only update if it's turned on/off from within indigo, It would be great if it updated from both.

I've got the boiler device set up to poll the device "Only when activity Detected" I obviously can set to poll it every 5 mins or whenever possible but i don't want to be adding unnecessary z-wave traffic, Is there a way for the actuator itself to send it's status when it changes?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Andrew

Re: Boiler device status

It might or might not be possible depending on the exact behavior of when the thermostat sends commands..

Choose the Interfaces->Z-Wave->Configure... menu item, then turn on the debug logging checkbox.

See if you can then capture (in the Event Log window) what low level Z-Wave traffic occurs when the actuator turns ON/OFF. If anything is sent then copy/paste that (along with some lines before and after it).

Re: [ANSWERED]: Boiler device status

It appears that the Thermostat and boiler do not send anything that Indigo could use to interpret the status of the boiler.....
In the log below, i set the thermostat to 23° so it turned the boiler on, I then turned it down to 19° so the boiler turned off..... Nothing relates to the boiler, only the thermostat.
