[SOLVED]: Cannot connect to

After upgrading to Mac OS 10.9.x Indigo 5 fails to connect to my INSTEON / X10 Power Line Interface. Since I do not use it often I do not know if this upgrade is related to it. I did try a trial of Indigo 6 a few months ago with the same problem. I am trying again with version 5 with continued failure. I did reinstall the software. I am wondering my next step to diagnose the problem. I did wonder about the USB ports but they are working with other hardware.

Re: Cannot connect to

Have Indigo try to connect to it, then copy/paste the Event Log results into a reply post for us.

Interface Failure failed to establish connection with serial interface PowerLinc Modem on port Bluetooth-PDA-Sync

I forgot to mention that the unit is a 2413U. I installed the FTDIUSBSerialDriver v 2.2.18 64-bit yesterday to no benefit.

Re: Cannot connect to

The selected serial port ("Bluetooth-PDA-Sync") is not correct. The correct serial port will look like: usbserial-XYZ. You can set the port via the Indigo preferences.

Re: Cannot connect to

Thanks. That did it. The "Bluetooth-PDA-Sync" didn't seem right to me but I didn't notice the alternative before for some reason. Don't know how that got changed to the wrong one because it was working well for a few years.
