[SOLVED]6.0.10 thermostat pop-up blank

I have client 6.0.10 running on 2 different Macs, and they display the same bug. One is a new MacBookPro running 10.9.1 and the other is a MacBook running 10.7.5 which is also the Indigo server.
In the devices list, if I click on the mode pop-up menu for a Venstar thermostat, it is completely blank. I have 3 thermostats, and all 3 show the blank pop-up. The fan pop-up looks fine.

Hmmm, not seeing it here on those two OS releases. Can you take a screenshot of what's happening and post it in a follow-up? Also, did you install the client using the installer? The odd thing is that the contents of that menu aren't dynamic - they're hard coded in the UI description file - so I'm unclear how they'd be not showing up.

Also, are you using any remote viewing/screen sharing to view the client? We've seen in the past that those sometimes cause UI controls to behave oddly.

No VNC or anything. This is what it looks like on my iMac running Mavericks.
All 4 Macs in this house have the same issue. All of them (including the "server" MacBook) were all installed using the installer. All of them have had a older version of Indigo 6 installed.

We are having a problem reproducing this one. Can you try re-downloading the Indigo installer and running it again?

Forum community: anyone else able to reproduce this one? Just try clicking on the modes popup control in the Main Window for a thermostat. Does it show modes, or a blank popup like above?

Also, quit the client, delete the following files, then start it back up:

~/Library/Preferences/com.perceptiveautomation.indigo-client6.plist
~/Library/Preferences/Indigo 6 Client Prefs.indiPref
~/Library/Preferences/Indigo 6 Client Settings.indiPref


Note: that's the Library folder that's inside your user folder (not the one at the top level of the hard drive).

I tried deleting those files in my home library folder on my MacBook, but it didn't change anything. I'll try the 3 other Macs in the house (that have the same issue) later today.
Try logging in to wicki dot dyndns dot org here at my house and see if it shows the same issue for you guys. There are 3 thermostats, all 3 have the same problem.

Did you reinstall Indigo?

And did you make sure you quit the Indigo client before you deleted the files?

Ignore the post above. I just logged into your Indigo Server (you should re-enable the password now) and am seeing the problem. I'm 99% sure it is because your thermostats are in Program Heat mode. So this is definitely a buglet. We'll look into getting it fixed for 6.0.11.

You see correct. All 3 are in program heat mode (no central A/C here )
