No 2nd client allowed

Ask questions about the Mac client app here if you don't see a better option. This might include questions about user interface items, menu locations, app crashes, etc. So in the process of using the client if you find something that doesn't work then this is the place to ask.

No 2nd client allowed

Post by marcel langelaan »

Hello, running 2022.2.2 I get from today the following message when I try to connect to Indigo-server from another Mac.

Your current Indigo Server license will not allow any more simultaneously connected clients.

Please help me to understand how to overcome this issue.

Greetings

The Indigo Server thinks that there are already 5 different Mac clients connected to it (which is the simultaneous limit). If you don't have 5 different Macs connecting to the same Indigo Server then it's likely that you just need to reboot your Mac. Sometimes macOS will fail to properly close network connections so the Indigo Server never gets the signal that the client has disconnected.

Hi Jay,

During the reboot the Mac crashed. Can you please free-up the license so I can install Indigo on another Mac?

Thx in advance
