Reflector down

On my father’s MacMini with Indigo 7.3 Reflector is down.
Error “400 invalid parameters”
Indigo Server restart does not help

Any suggestion?

Re: Reflector down

Email us (support AT indigodomo DOT com) the details such as indigo Account username and reflector name so we can look into it.

Re: Reflector down

Looks like the problem is/was a third party Python install. Have you installed python on your Mac (via Homebrew or some other installer)?

I'm having the same problem, too!

(No recent python install changes)

Re: Reflector down

Yeah, I deleted a MacPorts Python installation but the problem is still there.
It looks to me more than a coincidence that 3 people on almost the same day are having the same problem :/

Agreed. I'm going to post some steps (on this thread) to gather information from everyone that is having the problem so we can track down what is going on and come up with a fix.

Re: Reflector down

We were able to identify and fix the problem. Everyone that experienced this problem should have automatically had their reflectors reconnected by now. If they haven't then stop and restart the Indigo Server. If that fails then please copy/paste the reflector error lines from your Event Log and post or email them to us.

Re: Reflector down

Hi Matt,

I'm getting this error after upgrading to 7.4. I've stoped and restarted the server and continue to get the error in the log every 15 minutes. Indigo touch is working but a couple ofI FTTT web hooks that used to work seem not to be working now.

Re: Reflector down

Sorry the error is:

failed to create reflector connection: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: '/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7.4/Preferences/PrismReflector/id_rsa.pub'

Re: Reflector down

When that occurs it is normally because another installer (not Indigo) has messed up the file/folder permissions, or the user has used Apple's Migration Assistant to move over the data files (it isn't good about maintaining file/folder owners). In either case the first step is to try re-running the Indigo installer. It attempts to repair permissions on Indigo files.

Re: Reflector down

Deleting the plugin host server app and reinstalling Indigo did not solve the problem.

Now my house is completely down with regard to any automation..

Help please

Re: Reflector down

Reboot Mac?

Backup (copy DB), remove then reinstall Indigo (rather than reinstalling over top)?

It’s definitely saying permission error.
