Re: Indigo Crisis Management

This came up a few years ago in our household. It got me thinking that if anything happens to me the last thing I wanted was for my wife to have to then try to figure out how things were put together. My solution was to create a six page document the explained what was wired up in each room - so an ...

Re: Home Remote with NFC Tags

Not Indigo related but don't forget you also have NFT chips in CHIP and PIN cards. Just mad a bunch of Personal Automations to launch the bank's app on my iPhone when I wave it over the card. Useful? Somewhat. Nerdy? Very. The latter wins.

Re: TRV Beta Feedback Thread

Hi Jon, Any chance I could test your new plugin? I'm down to my last two Stella-Zs, and one of them is starting to miss updates. They've been my worst purchase. I've one Spirit that has been in its box for a year that I could replace it with. I think our house knows that we plan to move - it's killi...

Re: Ring recording URL

Wanted to take another look at this when I noticed there is no longer a URL state saved via this plugin. Has this been removed?

Thanks,

Simon

Re: Cameras stopped working after server migration

Oh bugger.

In case you replied after my update, I do actually see one error. Whether related or something else I don't know.

Otherwise, everything else is working fine. :)

Re: Cameras stopped working after server migration

So is the consensus that this is a Mojave only issue? Because I'm not seeing the feed, yet Indigo, HKB, and SecuritySpy are running on the same Mac running macOS Sierra. I've just tried for the first time to add my camera to HKB. At first it wasn't showing up, even after restarting and so on. But af...

Re: Trying to upgrade my Mac, but there's nowhere to go...

Wow, that's impressive. I doubt I could even get my "core load" to work with anything less than 8GB. Right now the Indigo "core system" runs on a 16GB Mini while SecuritySpy runs on it's own system. Your cameras must be low resolution and you must only have a couple of them beca...

Re: Trying to upgrade my Mac, but there's nowhere to go...

I'm running Indigo, SecuritySpy, and Plex on a 2012 MacBook Air that is still on Sierra. Have a few external drives attached to feed Plex, but it doesn't do any transcoding as I'm using Infuse on an Apple TV. The Air works like a charm, which I put down to it using an SSD - what a difference that ma...

Re: Need new camera system - Ring vs. the world

I've a Ring Pro doorbell, and it's fine, but for a camera billed as HD I disagree. The video looks fine on a phone, but login to your online account and look at the recording at a larger size and it's full of compression artefacts. Often goes very blocky around motion. I've discussed it with them an...

Re: Mac File-Vault 2 and Indigo

Do bear in mind that you can't auto login with a File Vault enabled computer, which would limit what you can do remotely to your Indigo running Mac in case of an emergency.

Re: Autolog Stella-Z Thermostat Controller Discussion

Hi Jon,

Just wondering if there's an update, or even something to test? I've had yet another Stella-Z die. They have been most unreliable.

Thanks,

Simon

Re: Ubiquiti USG and Handoff/Continuity

It's working now between iPhone and iMac. Will now working on gettting it working on my other devices. The fix, turning off/ on iCloud. Thankfully it isn't as painful an experience as it used to be. The only annoyance is my credit/debit cards need re-adding to wallet. But it's still total BS. All Ap...
