You must have gotten a lemon, My UDMP and others I have deployed have been rock solid for 3+ years, never needed a reboot other than to upgrade the firmware.

There is a company on ebay that repairs Insteon devices, its usually just the caps going bad. I have never used them, but I have replaced the caps in a Powerlinc and it came back to life. :D Might be worth it to reach out to them. I did the same thing and have the stick in the middle of the house for years now.

I have has a switch act like that once, and then I killed another without cutting the power and shorting the output

I moved said switches to a slave in a 3 way switch configuration and they have been working in this configuration for 10+ years.

I had thought that the new modules were universal, 120-240V, but apparently only at 60Hz.. Sorry about that.
