Oh I sawed off the stand and bought a vesa adapter ages ago.

In re: welding...
I like home automation because it kinda makes me feel like god, what with the lights and all.

Melting and fusing metal together also scratches that itch ;)

I got a Primeweld inverter powered ac tig for $800; it has a HUGE enthusiast following, made in not china, and great support. Do it!

Looks like some form of visa mount adapter and the "Hack saw" method? I've seen posts where you can use a loyalty card and a torx wrench to remove the old stand, but I haven't seen anything for sale that would mount in the original hole... if I removed it.

I haven't welded in years, but I've been thinking about getting back into it. I made a deal with my wife that I can get the new bronco if I fix up and sell my old one.... that will require some replacement floors and some other body repairs... maybe some new rock sliders.

Pretty sweet. I'd like to see more pictures of the mount parts on the back.

I have the opposite problem here in Texas. I had an iPad mounted in my garage for a couple months... over summer, the glue melted and the screen fell off

Oh you can’t even see my s-show metal-work area which is also a disaster

Nice. I can see why you needed a way to hang it from the ceiling. There's nowhere else to put it! :D
